Between the Cook Islands and Tonga is the small independent island on Niue. Keith, the commodore of the yacht club, welcomed us when we arrived. The club has more members than the island has inhabitants!! Join us as we visit some of the hotspots around the island.
Suwarrow is a member of the Cook Islands. This remote atoll is inhabited by two caretakers, Apii and James, who welcomed us and showed us around this slice of paradise.
Known as the ‘Dangerous Islands’ the Tuamotos have been used in the past as a nuclear testing ground by the French. Low lying atolls, fast and turbulent passes and numerous reefs mean that these islands live up to their nickname!
