Hello Nortons,

It's the Ortons again. Glad to hear you had safe passage to the Carribean and an enjoyable Christmas. We just got back from our own travels to St. Simon's Island, Georgia, where we spent Christmas with some friends.

To answer your earlier question (from an earlier post), we found your videos on YouTube when researching "family sailing". As we mentioned, we have five children, are beginning sailors, but have high hopes of sailing as a family. Although based in the US, the big goal has been to sail from Gibraltor to the Suez. This past summer was spent practicing with short day sails on Long Island Sound.

You can learn about our family at:

www.erikorton.com

We love seeing your photos, videos and just following your travels in general.

Happy New Year!

Hi Guys
Good to see your latest videos. Every one I watch I get goose bumps. You look like you are having a great time. Enjoy Antigua . . its been snowing here although the sun is shining and the canal looks beautiful but Antigua looks better. Eddie is enjoying Gordons so much and doing really well... hes getting awards left right and centre. Im very proud of him. My houseboat sale fell through the day before we were about to exchange... peed off big time... do you want to buy a houseboat lol !!! apart from that life is fairly quiet. Dickie finished working on Gullivars Travel at the end of August and hopes to start on a new film in January. I hope to get a Christmas message to you guys this week maybe even a video message. Miss you loads ... have a great time.... lots of love

Hello my dear friends. What can I say i have enjoyed it so much it has brought back a lot of memories and when I saw Sheila jumping "we have done it" tears welled up.

It is an incredible achievement and Charlie, Freddie and Annie isn't this better than sitting at schooldesks!

I have passed your website to several of our friends, so they can enjoy the trip too.

With love Edy xx
